For those eating cold Turkey [ as opposed to humble pie ] I have a recommendation for next year.
HMB, take note.

This year the crop of Sloes was so heavy I had enough to experiment with. Having only ever used them for Sloe Gin in the past, this year I decided it must be possible to make Sloe Jelly, afterall we use crab apples for jelly, so why not ?
I did make & have eaten it today with cold meat………… fantastic !
I say, it beats Cranberry sauce/jelly into a cocked hat, with hot or cold meat.
