I hope this isn’t too jumbled, trying to get photos presented in order is nigh on impossible, but do click the pics to get a better view.
The spotted Flycatchers fledged yesterday & oh how entertaining they were.

I could get right up to them for some photos, the parents made a fuss but not the chicks, they had no idea of danger, especially the last one, he sat on that beam for at least 5 hours longer than number three. Number two out of the nest was the first to fly, number one was quietly sitting for a good 30 mins before 2 arrived chirping & testing his wings. So the order of flight was 2,1,3,4 starting  to leave the nest at around 10am

At around 6pm when the parents had given up on 4, I used a pair of tweezers to collect a sleepy honey bee…which they have been fed by the parents & went to feed the cheeping, demanding, chick, but just as I slowly reached up to offer the bee he spread his wings & flew away…..& it had stopped raining. 🙂

I have heard them this morning so I hope all four are safe.

Apparently SFC’s come back to the same place to breed each year so I shall look forward to next year.
